Import health clearance (Food & Chemical Substances)

1.	Fish	Import permit or License from the fisheries department or relevant MDA. Health certificate from a relevant authority of exporting Country.
2.	Milk & Milk Products	Import permit/License from the fisheries Dairy Board. Health certificate the competent authority in the exporting Country.
3.	Meat and Meat Products	Veterinary Certificate from the relevant authority in the Country of origin. Important permit/license from the Veterinary Department in Kenya.
4.	Tea	Import permit/License from the Tea Board. Import Permit from Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS).
5.	Coffee	Import permit/License from the Coffee Board. Import Permit from Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS).
6.	Eggs and Honey	Import Permit from the Veterinary Department. Health Certificate from Country of Origin.
7.	Cereals, grains and Fruits	Phytosanitory Certificate from Country of Origin. Fumigation Certificate. Non-genetically modified organism (GMO) Certificate from the Country of origin. Permit from the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services (KEPHIS).
8.	Chemicals/Cosmetics	Safety data sheet. Certificate of Analysis.
9.	Other manufactured Foodstuff	None (refer to the common documents)
10.	Used clothes, shoes and beddings	Fumigation Certificate.
